Aïta Vénus Koundé
My name is Aïta Vénus Koundé, I am currently a 3rd year student in Liberal Arts at Sciences Po Paris. I was born and raised in Evry, near Paris. I've spent my whole life there and I thought I'd seen it all. Photography has allowed me to rediscover my hometown and understand that it is part of me. This year, I had the opportunity to get out of my comfort zone and to contemplate a world that was still unknown to me. Through my photos, I want to honor the places and people who have left a mark on my existence.
Je m’appelle Aïta Vénus Koundé, je suis actuellement étudiante en 3ème année en sciences humaines à Sciences Po Paris. Je suis née et j’ai grandi à Evry, en région parisienne. J’y ai passée toute ma vie et je pensais en avoir fait le tour. La photographie m’a permis de redécouvrir ma ville natale et de comprendre qu’elle fait partie de moi. Cette année, j’ai eu l’opportunité de sortir de chez moi et de contempler un monde qui m’était encore inconnu. A travers mes photographies, je souhaite mettre à l’honneur les lieux et les personnes qui ont laissé une trace sur mon existence.
